Vicinity Centres PM Pty Ltd (ACN 96 101 504 045) (‘We’, ‘Our’ or ‘Us’) on behalf of the Participating Shopping Centres collects your personal information in order to run this Promotion, understand your interests and activities in relation to centres which we manage as well as plan, operate and manage these centres and the digital channels through which we engage with you. Where you consent to us doing so, we also use your personal information to contact you with centre news updates, events and promotions. We may disclose your personal information to our related bodies corporate and service providers (includes Zinc Marketing) and prize suppliers, including those located in the USA and Singapore. Zinc Marketing will disclose winners’ personal data to prize suppliers/prize distributors (e.g. Creata) in order to fulfil the award of prizes to winners. We also de-identify and aggregate your data for market research and data analytics purposes. Our Privacy Policy (http://vicinity.com.au/privacy-policy) provides more information about how we handle personal information and how you can contact us to access, correct or complain about our handling of personal information.

The full list of Participating Shopping Centres for this Promotion is set out in Schedule B below.

If general retail is not trading at a Participating Shopping Centre due to COVID, the Promoter may decide to pause the Promotion in the affected shopping centre/s. For the sake of clarity, pausing of the Promotion means no purchases during the pausing of the Promotion in such a shopping centre will be eligible for the Promotion. Online entry will still be permitted for the purchases at a Participating Centre where it was completed when the Promotion was not paused in centre. Any pausing of a Promotion in a shopping centre will be published on the shopping centre’s website.

How to Enter:

Registration for Shop, Scan & Win

To be eligible to enter the Promotion, the entrant must complete the Promotion registration form during either the Pre-Launch Promotional Period or the Promotional Period. To register, the entrant must scan the QR code featured on promotional advertising in Participating Centres to be directed to the promotional website or visit the promotional website directly at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au, select the ‘Sign Up and Play’ button, input their personal details as requested, select their local Participating Shopping Centre from options listed, select the respective tick boxes listed and then complete steps to verify their account using the SMS verification mechanic to complete registration.

By registering, entrants subscribe to receive news of exclusive events and promotions for their local Participating Shopping Centre selected at the time of registering, via email or SMS from Vicinity Centres PTY LTD.

Throughout the Promotion, entrants will receive Monopoly Shop Scan Win promotional emails from Vicinity Centres PTY LTD (via enquiries@monopolyshopscanwin.com.au) summarising their participation and progress within the Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotion and they may also be served suggested retailers to shop at, increasing their entries into the Promotion. These promotional e-mails are exclusive to Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotion Participants who have completed the Promotion Registration process as described above. Entrants can unsubscribe from the Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotional emails using the unsubscribe button on the bottom of the email. Unsubscribing from the Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotional emails will not unsubscribe participants from a Participating Shopping Centre’s e-newsletter; this subscription can be cancelled via the unsubscribe link contained at the bottom of the centre e-newsletter emails.

If the entrant’s mobile phone is not in incognito mode and privacy settings allow the Promoter to use and access a persistent cookie, the customer will be automatically logged in next time they visit www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au via their mobile phone. Alternatively, if not the case, once successfully registered to the Promotion the entrant will need to login again to the Website Application at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au, provide their mobile phone number, select ‘next’ and will be sent a one-time pin number to their registered mobile phone number which they will need to enter on the Website Application to login.

Pre-Launch Promotional Period – Free Entry into Week 1 Prize Draw

During the Pre-Launch Promotional Period, the Promotion Website will allow entrants to register early at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au giving the entrant a free entry into the Week 1 Prize Draw (and further prize draws, subject to the entrant meeting the relevant purchase requirement) and this entry will be displayed within the entrant’s wallet separate to the Store Category Cards (as detailed below).

Upon entries opening for Week 2, from 25/04/24 at 12:00am AEST, the free entry will carry over as a bonus entry into the Week 2 to 6 prize draws if the entrant scans at least 1 valid receipt for their Qualifying Transaction (as outlined below) during the Promotional Period.

If the entrant does not have a Qualifying Transaction from 25/04/24 at 12:00am AEST onwards, their entry to the Week 2 – 6 prize draws will be deemed invalid.

During the Pre-Launch Promotional Period, entrants can explore the entire Web App at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au, with only the game play functionality being hidden.

Promotional Period - Play the Game

During the Promotional Period, from 18/04/24 at 09:00am AEST, the Promotion Website Application will switch over to full game play mode where to play the game the entrant will be required to complete the following steps:

  1. SPEND
    Spend $10 or more in one (1) transaction on any goods or services (other than the Excluded Items) from any participating retailer at a Participating Shopping Centre (list of participating retailers from a shopping centre will be listed at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au) (“Qualifying Transaction”);
  2. REGISTER or LOGIN
    Register or login (if already successfully registered) at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au (note: this step can also be completed by scanning the QR code on point of sale advertising in centre or via the game card as supplied by retailers in-centre to easily access the website);
  3. PLAY
    1. Select the ‘Play’ button;
    2. Select the Participating Shopping Centre;
    3. Upload a scanned photo of their receipt for their Qualifying Transaction, check and confirm the details extracted from the photo including the store of purchase, date of purchase, total value of the Qualifying Transaction are correct;
    4. Press the ‘Play’ button again to continue; and
    5. The entrant will then be dealt with two (2) Chance Cards and one (1) Store Category Card matching the category of their purchase.
    6. To increase an entrant’s chances of entering the weekly prize draws, there will be selected feature Category Weeks where the entrant will instead be dealt with two (2) Chance Cards and two (2) Store Category Cards matching the category of their purchase. Limit one (1) game ‘play’ permitted per Qualifying Transaction. Receipts must both be valid and readable by the automated scanning technology in order to play. In the case that a valid receipt is not readable by the scanning technology, the entrant will forfeit the opportunity to play for that Qualifying Transaction. Chance Card:

Entrants will be presented with two (2) ‘Chance Cards’ on screen as part of game ‘play’. The entrant will see each ‘Chance Card’ flip and reveal if they are an instant prize winner. ‘Instant Win Prizes’ are automatically added to the entrant’s game ‘Wallet’ under the ‘Instant Win Prizes’ tab. Instant winners will be required to follow the Instant Win Claim process whereby instructions can be followed at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au/faqs. If an entrant fails to complete the claim process and/or provides incorrect details, they will forfeit their right to an instant win prize. ‘Instant Win Prizes’ will be shown as a status of ‘Claimed’ in the entrant’s wallet upon completion of the claim process signifying that the redemption code has been successfully claimed. ‘Chance Cards’ that do not provide an instant win prize outcome, will reveal a bonus ‘Store Category Card’ from one of the ten (10) store categories defined below.

Store Category Card:

Entrants will also be presented with one (1) or two (2) ‘Store Category Cards’ on screen as part of game ‘play’ (with multiple cards awarded for ‘feature category’ weeks). The ‘Store Category Cards’ will automatically be added to the entrant’s game ‘Wallet’ under the ‘Collect-To-Win’ tab, whereby a set of three (3) ‘Store Category Cards’ in one (1) retailer category (e.g. Food & Grocery”) qualifies for one (1) entry into a Weekly Draw. This entry into a Weekly Draw will remain for each proceeding Weekly Draw, during the entire Promotional Period, from the time in which the set of three (3) ‘Store Category Cards’ is accumulated.

Entrants may view all ‘Store Category Cards’ they have accumulated to date by selecting their game ‘Wallet’ on the main screen of the promotional website.

The ‘Store Category Cards’ will be awarded for the retailer category of purchase. For example if the entrant has purchased from a clothing retailer, and spends $100 in the retailer on eligible goods and services, the entrant will be presented with one (1) or two (2) ‘Fashion & Accessories Cards’ (with multiple cards awarded for ‘feature category’ weeks). To increase an entrant’s chances of entering the weekly prize draws, the instances when two (2) ‘Store Category Cards’ are awarded have been detailed in the table above.

Excluded Items: The following products or services (including vouchers relating to such products or services) will not be eligible to purchase to enter: gift cards, liquor or tobacco products, weapons of any kind, prescription medicines, cosmetic or surgical procedures, health insurance. Furthermore, any transactions/services at medical practitioners and related health services (physio, dentist, pathology, psychology), banks, Automatic Telling Machines, financial institutions, TAB and gaming venues, lottery agents, petrol stations, accountants, employment services/agencies, disability services, professional training, lawyers, tax services, occupational safety (ie Worksafe), child care services, parliamentary offices, neighbourhood watch, electorate office, real estate agencies and rental of suites/offices are not eligible for this Promotion.

Proof of Purchase: The entrant must retain proof of purchase for every entry into the Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotion. The proof of purchase required is an original receipt for the Qualifying Transaction.

Instant win prizes are awarded randomly throughout the Promotional Period only. The final number of prizes distributed will be the number of prizes redeemed by eligible entrants.

Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the voucher are not included. Any unused balance of the voucher will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the voucher.

Quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Conditions of Entry, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured.

Entries open and close for each Weekly Draw on the dates/time specified in the table below. The Weekly Draws will take place at Zinc Group Pty Ltd, 32 Ellis Street, South Yarra VIC 3141, Australia at 12pm AEST on the dates outlined below using computerised random selection. All entries in each Weekly Draw will roll over to subsequent Weekly Draw/s. Prizes available to be won in each Weekly Draw are outlined in Schedule A below. The highest value prize in each Weekly Draw will be drawn first and if there are other prizes, the other prizes will be drawn in descending order of number and value. The draw conductor may draw additional reserve entries in case an invalid entry or entrant is drawn. Prizes will be delivered (if applicable) to Australian addresses only.

Winner notification:

Each draw winner will be contacted by email within seven (7) business days of the draw date, as listed in the table above, and requested to supply their address details for prize fulfilment within 8 weeks from the Draw Date.


Draw winners’ details will be provided to prize suppliers for the purposes of arranging prize delivery.


Instant winners will be notified immediately on screen upon flipping their ‘Chance’ card. To claim an instant win prize, winners must visit their Wallet before 06/07/2024 11.59pm AEST, click on the ‘Instant Win’ tab, view their prize, record their Redemption Code, and click ‘Claim’. Winners will be redirected to www.shopscanwinprizes.com.au where they must enter their personal details and their Redemption Code to redeem their ‘Instant Win’ prize. Winners must then select a venue/experience from which to redeem their prize, after which winners will be emailed a digital voucher for their prize.


Weekly draw winners will have entries and purchases validated by the Promoter prior to the award of any prize.


The Promoter reserves the right to validate all entries and invalidate ‘Instant Wins’ where the Promoter believes that winning entries are fraudulent. All winners of prizes over $250 will be published at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au by 07/06/24.

Unclaimed Prizes:

Weekly Draw Prizes must be claimed by 01/08/24 at 11:59pm AEST. In the event of an unclaimed weekly draw prize, the draw prize will be will be redrawn on 02/08/24 at 12:00pm AEST at Zinc, 32 Ellis Street, South Yarra VIC 3141, Australia. The Re-Draw Prize Winners will be contacted by email within seven (7) business days of the re-draw. All winners of the re-draw will be published at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au by 09/08/24. These Weekly Re-Draw Winners will have until 30/08/24 to redeem their prize by providing all required information otherwise their prize will be forfeited and no further re-draws will take place.

If there are no prize winner/s or winner/s for this Promotion cannot be found, this information will be published at www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au.

Further Conditions;

  1. The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule) and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry (and Schedule). Any capitalised terms used in these Conditions of Entry have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
  2. The Promotion commences on the Start Date and ends on the End Date. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission or deposit by the entrant. Records of the Promoter and its agencies are final and conclusive as to the time of receipt.
  3. Valid and eligible entries will be accepted during the Promotional Periods.
  4. Employees (and their immediate family members) of agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Promotion, the Participating Shopping Centres, the Promoter, their tenants, businesses involved in determination of winner/s for the Promotion, businesses involved in the management of the Promotion, any organisation benefiting from the Promotion, the Promoter’s distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter. "Immediate family member" means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
  5. If a prize is won by a person under the age of 18, the prize may be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian and where applicable to the prize a nominated parent/guardian must accompany any person under 18 years of age.
  6. If any winner chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to), or does not take or claim a prize by the time specified by the Promoter, or is unavailable, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.
  7. Where entry is allowed by purchase or subscription, the cost of the product or service is no greater than the cost would be without the opportunity to participate in the Promotion.
  8. Entrants must keep their proof of purchase specified in the How to Enter section for each entry as proof of purchase ("Proof of Purchase"). If an entrant fails to produce the Proof of Purchase for a specific entry or each entry, as and when requested by the Promoter, the Promoter has the right to invalidate the entrant's respective entry/entries for which Proof of Purchase cannot be provided and/or all entries submitted by that entrant and/or forfeit the entrant's right to a prize. If a purchase receipt provided on entry is not clear, the Promoter reserves the right to invalidate such entry or request a clearer copy. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify: (a) the store of purchase as an eligible store; (b) the required product/s or service/s to be purchased for entry; and (c) that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period and prior to entry. If an entrant returns a purchase relating to a Qualifying Transaction their related entry will be deemed invalid.
  9. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a gift card prize are not included. Any unused balance of the gift card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the gift card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the gift card.
  10. The value of the prizes is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the prizes (inclusive of GST) at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes after that date.
  11. No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter.
  12. If a prize (or portion of a prize) is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that portion of the prize) to a prize of equal or greater value and specification, subject to any written directions of a regulatory authority.
  13. No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Promotion. Where entry is allowed online, there is no additional cost to enter the Promotion other than any cost paid by the entrant to access the website or social media platform of entry via their Internet service provider.
  14. Each prize will be awarded to the person named in the entry and any entry that is made on behalf of an entrant or by a third party will be invalid. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
  15. It is a condition of accepting the prize that a winner (or their parent or legal guardian if under the age of 18) may be required to sign a legal release as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving a prize.
  16. If a prize is provided to the Promoter by a third party, the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party prize supplier. The terms and conditions which apply to the prize at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these Conditions of Entry in the event of any inconsistency. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the prize, any delay or failure relating to the prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these Conditions of Entry or otherwise.
  17. Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
  18. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize, subject to State or Territory regulation.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries and entrant's details (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable, will at the Promoter's discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to win. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
  20. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries and entrants in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry or where the Promoter has reason to believe that the entrant has engaged in unlawful or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the Promotion. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the complainant/entrant/winner. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final.
  21. The Promoter, the Shopping Centre owner/s and their associated agencies, related companies, officers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or wilful misconduct) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation). For the sake of clarity, this clause shall not apply where the Promoter has contributed to or caused such loss, expense, damage, personal injury or death and shall not apply to any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in each case the Promoter’s liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  22. The entrant will participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable marketing and editorial activities relating to the Promotion, including (but not limited to) being recorded, photographed, filmed or interviewed and acknowledges that the Promoter and the Participating Shopping Centres may use any such marketing and editorial material without further reference or compensation to them.
  23. Entrants are prohibited from: a) using the promotional mobile application (“Mobile Application”) other than in object code form for the entrant’s individual enjoyment in accordance with the entry instructions; b) copying the Mobile Application, and decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the Mobile Application.
  24. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications and the entrant must seek their own independent financial advice in regards to the tax implications relating to the prize or acceptance of the prize.
  25. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.

Definitions

Card means Gift Card issued by THE CARD NETWORK

Card Number means the number that appears on the back of your Card.

PIN means the 4-digit Access PIN printed on the back of your Card.

This Card is issued by Indue Limited ABN 97 087 822 464, AFSL 320204 (‘we/us/our’). In these conditions ‘you’ are the Card purchaser or user. Indue Limited (“INDUE”) is the issuer of the Card and authorises The Card Network (“TCN”) Pty Ltd ABN 87 626 501 568 to distribute the Card. Good Food is the card promotor. If you acquire the Card you will have a contract with TCN.

Using the Card, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. You must give these conditions to the user of the Card if that is not you. The Card remains our property. This Card is a restricted access network gift card that can be used for electronic transactions, to purchase goods and services at selected merchants that have the designated merchant category code ‘Eating Places’ or ‘Drinking Places’. The card is not valid at venues outside of these merchant category codes. Specifically the card is not valid at venues that are designated by their merchant category code as Fast food or quick service restaurants. Gift cards are still subject to individual merchant acceptance and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and any applicable law and subject always to the individual trading terms of each participating merchant. Cards purchased via grocery channels will be activated upon purchase at point of sale. Cards purchased online or corporate orders will need to be activated at www.activate.gift by the end recipient. The card is valid for 3 years from the date of activation. You can also check the remaining period of use and the card balance at goodfood.gift. It is your responsibility to be aware of the expiry period and use the card prior.

Waivers

We are not liable for the goods or services you purchase with our Card. Any purchase made constitutes a transaction between you as the holder of the Card and the relevant merchant. You acknowledge and agree that we are not a party to that transaction, and are not in any way responsible or liable in relation to that transaction. Any dispute about goods or services purchased with a Card must be resolved with the merchant. If you think there has been an incorrectly processed transaction on your Card please contact the merchant where the transaction took place. We are unable to reverse transactions approved or processed by any merchant. The Card cannot be used to make transactions that exceed the available balance. For such a transaction you need to pay the difference by another method if the merchant agrees. This Card is not reloadable. To check the card balance, card expiry and full conditions of use, go to www.thecardnetwork.com.au. For balance enquiries, you will be required to enter both the Card Number and Access PIN on your Card prior to getting access to the card information. The card cannot be used after expiry. At expiry, the remaining available balance will be forfeited. We will not give you any notice before this happens.

The Card cannot be used to obtain or redeem cash and cannot be used for making direct debit, recurring, or regular instalment payments. Authorisations may be declined at some merchants (such as gambling merchants or merchants who choose not to accept prepaid cards). We are not liable in any way when an authorisation is declined for any particular transaction except where the authorisation has been declined because of an act or omission on our part. You acknowledge that we may allow access to the services offered on this site to anyone who enters a valid Card number and 4-digit PIN. Your PIN is simply our way of identifying you. It does not offer you any protection or security if your Card is lost, stolen or damaged. Remember to treat your Card like cash. You are solely responsible for any loss caused by use of your Card and PIN by you or any other person, including any use not approved or contemplated by you Your Card will not be replaced if misused, lost, stolen or damaged. If you notice any error or suspect any unauthorised use relating to the Card, you should notify THE CARD NETWORK immediately on 1300 375 346 during business hours or alternatively you can send an email to support@thecardnetwork.com.au If you have a problem with a purchase made with the Card, or a dispute with a merchant, you must deal directly with the merchant involved. If the Card expires or is revoked before you have spent any funds resulting from a refund (whether or not the original transaction being refunded was made using the Card) then you will have no access to those funds.

The Cards are available for purchase from specific authorised merchants listed on www.goodfood.gift. We cannot guarantee the validity of any Card purchased from any other merchant including any auction website or discount website who is not listed as one of our certified merchants. Any Card not purchased from a certified merchant may be fake or counterfeit or associated with fraudulent activity. We will not be liable to you or any other person for any loss arising from any purchase of our Cards from a merchant who is not listed as a certified seller. Pays availability

You must ensure that you select the correct card prior to using your Device as a payment method. We are not otherwise liable for the use, functionality or availability of a Device, the availability of merchants who allow the use of the Device and Card as payment, or a reduced level of service caused by the failure of third party communications and network providers (except to the extent deemed liable under the ePayments Code). We are not liable for transactions on your Card if: a) your Device security measures are compromised; or b) where you allow others access to, or the means to access, your Device; or c) any other circumstances in which you allow others to circumvent the security measures of your Device. Fees

Refunds

If you acquire the Card you will have a contract with TCN.

  3. Cards purchased via grocery channels will be activated upon purchase at the point of sale. Cards purchased online or corporate orders will need to be activated at www.activate.gift by the end recipient. The card is valid for 3 years from the date of activation. You can also check the remaining period of use and the card balance at goodfood.gift. It is your responsibility to be aware of the expiry period and use the card prior.
  4. We are not liable for the goods or services you purchase with our Card. Any purchase made constitutes a transaction between you as the holder of the Card and the relevant merchant. You acknowledge and agree that we are not a party to that transaction, and are not in any way responsible or liable in relation to that transaction. Any dispute about goods or services purchased with a Card must be resolved with the merchant. If you think there has been an incorrectly processed transaction on your Card please contact the merchant where the transaction took place. We are unable to reverse transactions approved or processed by any merchant.
  5. The Card cannot be used to make transactions that exceed the available balance. For such a transaction, you need to pay the difference by another method if the merchant agrees.

  8. You acknowledge that we may allow access to the services offered on this site to anyone who enters a valid Card number and 4-digit PIN. Your PIN is simply our way of identifying you.     • b. Online Gift Card purchases: Gift Cards that are purchased from the Priceline Gift Card website and/or the Priceline Corporate Gift Card Website are pre-loaded and activated in accordance with our Priceline Gift Card Website Terms and Conditions and the Priceline Privacy Policy. Purchase of Priceline Gift Cards online constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions. A minimum of $10.00 and a maximum of $200.00 can be loaded on each Gift Card online, with an overall maximum value of $1000.00 per transaction.
    • c. All Gift Cards: Pay for your Gift Card value with the tender of your choice (other than a Gift Card). The transaction will be completed when the Gift Card is activated and loaded with value. Priceline Gift Cards purchased on the Priceline Corporate Gift Card Website require activation by the purchaser before the gift card may be used in-store.   5. Using your Gift Card
    1. Making a purchase with your Gift Card
      • Present your Gift Card at the point of sale at a participating Priceline store with the merchandise that you wish to purchase using that Gift Card.
      • Our point of sale operator will scan your Gift Card and then enter the PIN into the pin pad. The transaction will be completed when the balance has reduced on your Gift Card.
      • No change will be given for any Remaining Gift Card Value. The Remaining Gift Card Value may be used in whole or part against future purchases until the Gift Card expires.
      • You agree that we can reduce the Remaining Gift Card Value by the value of all purchases of goods and services that are authorised by you. Transactions are authorised by you by:

      • Goods that are purchased solely, or in part with a Gift Card may be exchanged or returned subject to Priceline’s exchange and returns policy.
      • Priceline has the discretion to refund the payment provided onto your original gift card, or may issue you with a new gift card as part of the refund.
      • Exchanges or refunds for change of mind cannot be offered for:
        • Gift cards and vouchers;
        • Prescription medicines and pharmacist-only medicines (available from Priceline Pharmacies only); or
        • Other products advertised as being non-refundable for change of mind.

    4. No cash advances
      • Gift Cards are not legal tender, account cards, credit or debit cards or securities. You cannot obtain any cash advance with your Gift Card, redeem your Gift Card for cash, or receive any portion of the Remaining Gift Card Value in cash.
    5. Checking your Gift Card balance, expiry date, and transaction history
      • You can check your Gift Card balance and expiry date at any time in-store at checkout of participating stores, or by calling 1300 554 268 or visiting www.priceline.com.au/giftcards.
      • For balance enquiries by phone or online, you will be required to enter both the Gift Card number (the 18 digit number on the back of the Gift Card) and PIN on your Gift Card prior to getting access to the Gift Card information.
  6. Gift Card Exchanges
    • You cannot exchange your Gift Card for a different denomination, design, or type of Gift Card or for another tender, cash, or discount.
  7. Non-Participating Stores
    • From time to time, particular Priceline stores may not be able to sell, activate or receive payment by Priceline Gift Card. In this event, please call 1300 554 268 for your nearest participating Priceline store.
  8. Reward Points
    • Reward points, including Sister Club Points, will not be awarded for the purchase of Gift Cards. Points can be earned when redeeming Gift Cards. See the Sister Club Terms & Conditions to find out how.
  9. Expiry, cancellation and re-issue of Gift Cards
    1. Expiry of Gift Cards
      • Gift Cards issued prior to 26th March 2018 are valid for use for 12 months from the date of activation. Gift Cards issued on or after 26th March 2018 are valid for use for 3 years from the date of activation. After such time it will be invalid. You should use all of the Remaining Gift Card Value before the expiry date. It is up to the cardholder to use the full value within the validity period. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited when the Gift Card expires. Unused balances will remain the property of Priceline.
    2. Cancellation and voiding of Gift Cards
      • Gift Cards cannot be cancelled once they are issued except if they are cancelled by Priceline at Priceline’s discretion, if their value is used or if they expire.
      • We reserve the right to cancel and not accept any Gift Card that appears to have been defaced, mutilated, altered, or tampered with in any way.
      • Defaced, mutilated, altered, lost, or stolen gift cards will not be replaced, refunded, or redeemed.
      • Priceline reserves the right to verify the identity of the bearer.
      • We reserve the right to cancel any Gift Card, or the Gift Card program, for any reason at any time without notice. In such instances (except those set out in paragraph b and c) we will elect to provide either a refund or a replacement Gift Card at our discretion.
      • We reserve the right to correct the balance of your Gift Card if we believe that a clerical or accounting error has occurred.
    3. Re-issue of faulty or damaged Gift Cards
      • A re-issue of faulty or damaged Gift Cards is not available unless the fault or damage to the Gift Card is proven to be a result of the production process or otherwise due to the fault of us or our agents or contractors.
  10. Lost or stolen Gift Cards
    • Treat your Gift Card like cash. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded. The bearer of the Gift Card will be taken to be the owner of the Gift Card.
  11. Gift Card Transactions
    • The customer is liable for all transactions on the Gift Card except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by Priceline or any of its employees.
  12. Intellectual Property
    • All material on the Gift Cards, and the Priceline and Gift Card Websites and that subsisting under it (including but not limited to text, images, data and software) is our property, or that of our suppliers, and is protected by intellectual property laws.
    • You may not use our trademarks in connection with any product or service that is not ours, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion, or in any way that disparages or discredits us.
    • All other trademarks not owned by Priceline or its related companies that appear on this site are the property of their respective owners.
    • You may not frame or utilise framing techniques to enclose any of our trademarks, logos or other proprietary information without our express written consent.
    • You may not in any way commercially exploit any material obtained from the Priceline Gift Card or Priceline or Gift Card Websites.
  13. Warranties and limitations of liability
    • To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim, without limitation, all liability for all damage, liability, costs or loss, including direct, indirect or consequential losses, however caused, in connection with your use of the Priceline Gift Card, the Priceline and Priceline Gift Card Websites or your use of or reliance upon any of the information, services or materials contained in the website or provided by the website to you.
    • Nothing in this clause is intended to modify any non-excludable statutory rights associated with the sale of products to consumers.
  14. General
    • In these Terms and Conditions:
      • "We, our or us, the Priceline gift card website and Priceline" means Priceline Proprietary Limited (ABN 18 005 968 310) and includes its related companies, directors, employees, and agents;
      • "You or your" means the person or customers using the gift card or gift card websites;
    • We reserve the right to revise these Gift Card Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any other website terms and conditions (including but not limited to terms and conditions of purchase) simply by publishing amended Terms and Conditions (or relevant material) online. We are under no obligation to provide you with notice of updated materials.
    • These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, and you hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for such purposes and waive any and all objections to jurisdiction or venue in such courts.
    • Any failure by Priceline to exercise or enforce any one or more of its rights under these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such rights unless such waiver is granted to you in writing.
    • These Terms and Conditions will be interpreted so that they do not infringe any law or are not invalid. If any term infringes any law or is invalid, it will be read down so that it does not infringe any such or is not invalid. If this is not possible, the term will be severed from these Terms and Conditions without affecting the validity of the remaining terms.
    • These Gift Card Terms of Use, Website Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy Policy consist of the entire agreement between us and you as regards the subject matter.

  1. Platypus Gift Cards can be purchased in store and online and are redeemable at any Platypus retail store in Australia or online at www.platypusshoes.com.au.
  2. Gift Cards are valid for 3 years from the issue date, or until no amount remains on the Gift Card. Any balance that remains on the Gift Card after expiry will not be available for use.
  3. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash, reloaded, topped up or used to purchase other gift cards.
  4. The value shown on a Gift Card includes GST.
  5. Gift Cards are partially redeemable and any unused balance can be used for future purchases up to the expiry date.

Gift cards are only valid in the currency of the country of purchase. They are not redeemable for cash or travellers cheques. If you require a refund on an order where a gift card was redeemed partially or fully, the value will be refunded back onto a gift card. No change will be given for a purchase made with a gift card.
