The Monopoly Shop Scan Win launch period runs from 18 April 2024 at 09:00am AEST to 29 May 2024 11:59pm AEST.

It is free to sign up to play. Once you have signed up, you must spend $10 or more (in one transaction) at a participating store in a participating centre in order to play. Exclusions apply, see question "Which types of purchases are excluded" or refer to full Terms and Conditions.

The promotion is open to all Australian residents aged 16 years or over at the time of entry. Entrants between 16 and 18 years of age must have the approval of a parent or legal guardian to enter.

To enter Monopoly Shop Scan Win, sign up, spend $10 or more in one transaction at a participating store, then upload your receipt to enter. Purchase exclusions apply, see below for further details. There are a number of types of purchases that are excluded including gift cards, liquor or tobacco products, weapons of any kind, prescription medicines, cosmetic or surgical procedures, health insurance. Furthermore, any transactions/services at medical practitioners and related health services (physio, dentist, pathology, psychology), banks, Automatic Telling Machines (ATM), financial institutions, TAB and gaming venues, lottery agents, petrol stations are excluded. Hearing and optometry services and related purchases are not excluded from the promotion. Please see Terms and Conditions. for full list of exclusions.

When you make a qualifying purchase and upload your receipt at monopolyshopscanwin.com.au, you will receive Chance Cards which flip to reveal an instant prize or additional Category Cards.

Category Cards are earned each time you make a qualifying purchase at a participating store and upload your receipt at monopolyshopscanwin.com.au. Collect a set of 3 cards from one Category to earn an entry into the corresponding weekly draw.

Yes, it is important that you keep your receipt as you may be required to show this when you are contacted to claim your prize. All prize winners are subject to verification by the Promoter.

Yes, in order to participate, you must register by fully completing the sign up page including consenting to the Terms and Conditions. By registering, entrants subscribe to receive news of exclusive events and promotions for their local Participating Shopping Centre selected at the time of registering, via email or SMS from Vicinity Centres. By registering, entrants also agree to receive Monopoly promotional emails from Vicinity Centres (via @monopolyshopscanwin.com.au) summarising their participation within the Monopoly Shop Scan Win Game. Both subscriptions may be cancelled individually by locating the relevant email and clicking on the Unsubscribe link in the email footer.

The Monopoly Shop Scan Win promotion is run from a website, not an app. This is accessible from www.monopolyshopscanwin.com.au or via the QR code on advertising material shown in participating centres or on Game Cards available at participating stores.

No, employees (and their immediate family members) of tenants, distributors, suppliers, to the Promoter (Vicinity Centres) and any organisation benefitting from the promotion cannot enter. Please read the Terms and Conditions for full details.
Participating Centres & Stores

You can view participating centres on the competition home page (monopolyshopscanwin.com.au) by clicking on Participating Centres.

Participating stores can be found by visiting Participating Centres. A list of participating stores will also be available on the Centre website and at the Customer Service Desk (where relevant). Also, stores within participating Centres will display Monopoly Shop Scan Win promotional signage throughout the Launch promotional period.

No, unfortunately a valid tax receipt is required to enter. Please make another purchase to enter.

Purchases from most stores where you have a valid tax invoice are eligible. Monopoly Shop Scan Win uses automated receipt scanning technology, therefore, there may be some stores whose receipts or invoices are not compatible with the software. If the scanning technology cannot read your receipt, you will receive an error message.
Receipt Scanning

After you have signed up to play, press Play. You will be asked to Scan your receipt to play; simply select your state and the centre you visited,then select Scan your receipt. Choose to either Upload a file or take a photo with your camera (mobile/tablet only). Upload or capture a photo of your valid purchase receipt. Your receipt will be read by the automated scanning technology and your purchase details pre-filled in the form for your review. Please verify the scanned details and either edit or confirm to continue play. If you are presented with a Receipt Error message, please refer to the below question I am having trouble scanning my receipt, what do I do?.

Receipts must be both valid and readable by the automated scanning technology in order to play.
You will receive an error message if your receipt is unreadable, invalid, or only partially readable. Please follow the instructions within the error message to correct the details or try re-taking the photo or using a different receipt.
Tips for taking photos of your receipt:
  • If your receipt is large, stand back and try to fit the whole receipt in the photo.
  • If you are experiencing issues, try taking a photo only of the portion of the receipt with the eftpos/payment transaction details.

  • Remember, a valid receipt must be:
  • Readable (we use text-recognition scanning technology).
  • The transaction date is within the promotional period (18 April 2024 at 09:00am AEST until 29 May 2024 at 11:59pm AEST).
  • The purchase amount must be $10 or more in one transaction.
  • The purchase must be made from a participating Centre and store (see Participating Centres.)
  • The purchase must not be for an excluded product. Excluded products include gift cards, liquor or tobacco products, weapons of any kind, prescription medicines, cosmetic or surgical procedures and health insurance. For the full list of excluded products, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
  • The image size must be less than 5MB, and the file format must be JPG, PDF, PNG and TIFF.

  • In the case that a valid receipt is not readable by the scanning technology, the entrant will forfeit play. Reading errors can be reported by emailing enquiries@monopolyshopscanwin.com.au.

    Please refer to the above question 'I am having trouble scanning my receipt, what do I do?'

    In the unlikely event that the scanning recognition technology cannot correctly read your valid receipt, please notify our tech support team by emailing: enquiries@monopolyshopscanwin.com.au. If your receipt cannot be read, you will need to try scanning a different receipt or image.

    No, each receipt uploaded must be unique.

    No, there is a limit of 1 game play permitted per qualifying transaction. A qualifying transaction is a single transaction (receipt).

    Entries are unlimited but you must have a unique and valid receipt for each entry.

    Yes, there is a limit of five (5) game 'plays' permitted per entrant, per store, per day.
    Account Information

    Yes, you will need to sign up again; the Monopoly Shop Scan Win Promotion does not carry over from one year to the next.

    As a condition of entry, we need your personal details and email to be able to run the promotion in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

    Yes, there is a limit of 1 registration permitted per person and mobile phone number.

    It is likely you have not verified your account by entering the one-time unique code sent to your phone by SMS which completes the process. Please enter your details again and ensure to enter this verification code to start playing!

    Once you have created an account, your home Centre is set, however, each time you play, you can scan a receipt from any Centre by selecting the Centre you shopped at within the field 'Which Centre Did You Visit?'

    Locate a Monopoly Shop Scan Win email in your inbox, then scroll to the unsubscribe button located in the footer and click the link to unsubscribe.
    Pre-Launch Promotional Period

    During the Pre-Launch Promotional Period, monopolyshopscanwin.com.au will give you the opportunity to sign up early giving you a FREE entry into the Week 1 Prize Draw (and further prize draws, subject to meeting the relevant purchase requirement) and this entry will be displayed within your wallet separate to the Category Cards.

    During the Pre-Launch Promotional Period, you can explore the entire Web App, with only the game play functionality being hidden.

    To get a FREE entry into the Week 1 Prize Draw you must register by fully completing the sign up page including consenting to the Terms and Conditions during the Pre-Launch Promotional Period.

    From 25 April 2024 at 12:00am AEST, the FREE entry will carry over as a bonus entry into the Weeks 2 to 6 prize draws if you have scanned at least one (1) valid receipt during the Launch Promotional Period (18 April at 09:00am AEST until 29 May at 11:59pm AEST.)
    If you do not have a Qualifying Transaction from 25 April 2024 at 12:00am AEST onwards, the FREE entry to the Weeks 2 � 6 prize draws will be deemed invalid.
    Featured Categories

    To increase your chances of entering the weekly prize draws, there will be selected feature Category Weeks where you will instead be dealt with two (2) Chance Cards and two (2) Store Category Cards matching the Category of your purchase. The featured Categories of the week are as follows:

    To receive the double Category Card, you must scan and play the receipt within the start and end dates as mentioned in the table from the previous question above.

    Instant Win Prizes & How To Claim

    Instant winners will be notified immediately on screen once your Chance Cards are flipped and revealed. Any Instant Wins are then stored in the 'MY INSTANT WINS' tab in 'My Wallet'. Instant Win Prizes give you the opportunity to enjoy an experience or a Gift Card to purchase where you wish (Entertainment Voucher, Visa $20 Gift Cards OR Visa $10 Gift Cards). For the Entertainment Vouchers, you may choose from many providers and select a location near you when you claim your Instant Win Prize.

    The 'MY INSTANT WINS' tab of 'My Wallet' shows all instant prizes you have won including whether or not they have already been claimed.

    Instant Win Prizes must be claimed by 6 July 2024 at 11.59pm AEST. Any instant win prizes not claimed by this date will be forfeited. To claim Instant Win Prizes:
    • Winners must log into their account at monopolyshopscanwin.com.au and visit 'My Wallet'.
    • Click the "Instant Prizes" Tab and scroll down to view any Instant Wins that are not already marked as claimed.
    • Click "View Prize"
    • Click beside the unique code on the Instant Win Prize Card
    • Click "CLAIM NOW"
    • You will be redirected to shopscanwinprizes.com.au to claim your prize
    • Enter the following details to activate/redeem your instant win prize:
      • Unique code
      • First Name & Surname
      • Email address
    • Choose the appropriate State, then select from the list of available Venues, the venue that you would like to redeem your prize from.
    • You will be able to print a voucher and will be emailed a link to the voucher that can be redeemed at the venue (check your junk mail folder for the email).
    • Choose to either book now or use the email received in the previous step to return to the site and book at a later date. Please note, some venues may require pre-booking.

    No, prizes cannot be transferred to another person. If a person is unable to receive their winning prize, then they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.

    For any instant winners (Entertainment Vouchers or Visa Gift Cards), when you redeem your instant prize (Entertainment Vouchers or Visa Gift Cards), an email confirmation will be sent to your nominated email address. If you do not receive your email, please check your junk mail. If you are concerned you may have entered an incorrect email address, please contact us at vicinity@myinstantrewards.com.au
    Weekly Draw Prizes

    The weekly prize draws will take place at 12pm AEST each Thursday from 25 April until 30 May 2024 at Zinc, 32 Ellis Street, South Yarra VIC 3141, Australia. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for further details on each prize draw

    Visit monopolyshopscanwin.com.au/prizes to see a showcase of prizes or you can the list of prizes within the Terms and Conditions.

    Each draw winner will be contacted by email and SMS within seven (7) business days of the draw. You will be asked to login to monopolyshopscanwin.com.au and click on the 'UNCLAIMED PRIZE' banner at the top of your screen, then complete your details to confirm your delivery address. Delivery will be organised after winner verification and confirmation of delivery address. Once you have provided your address, you will receive another email confirming that delivery of your prize is being arranged.

    You can see the prizes up for grabs on the Monopoly Shop Scan Win website. Go to the Prizes button on the homepage or view the Terms and Conditions for details of the prize draw by week.

    Participants are not able to select a prize, prizes will be drawn in the order published within the Terms and Conditions and each drawn winner will win the respective prize for that draw.

    Unfortunately, you cannot swap your prize, however, should you not want it, you can enquiries@monopolyshopscanwin.com.au within 24hours of being notified of winning the prize and choose not to accept it. Alternately you can accept it and re-gift it or donate it.

    No, prizes cannot be transferred to another person. If a person is unable to receive their winning prize, then they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.

    If any winner chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to) or does not take or claim a prize by 1 August 2024 at 11:59pm AEST or is unavailable, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize

    If a prize is won by a person who is 16 or 17 years of age, the prize may be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian.

    Weekly Physical Prizes
    Your prize will be delivered to the physical address (No PO boxes) that you nominate at the time you are awarded, or via contact from the Customer Service team. If you are concerned you may have entered an incorrect address, please contact us at prizeclaim@creata.com.

    Weekly Digital Prizes
    Any winner of a Choice HotelsTM 2-Night Accommodation Voucher, Annual Membership to the WithU Fitness App or various Digital Gift Cards will be provided a URL and code to redeem their prize online.     Weekly Physical Prizes

    Your one time code is only valid for 60 seconds, please click on the send again link on the login page if you see an invalid code message. If you did not receive your one time code, please check that the mobile number you have entered is correct and click the 'send again' link on the page. If you have incorrectly entered the one time code, please try again with correct digits or wait 60 seconds until this code expires and click on the 'send again' link on the page. Note that these codes can only be entered one time.
    In some instances you may need to reload the page and request the code again via the link on the page.
